Located downtown between the Oligiati and Market Street bridges, the boat is docked at Pier 2 – a former casino boat complete with smokestacks and pressed tin ceilings.

We got lucky with a warm, clear day, and I couldn’t wait to relax on the open-air top deck. I boarded the 450-passenger boat on the first day of spring with my 5-year-old daughter. So I hitched a ride on a riverboat called the Southern Belle. But as much as I’ve admired the Tennessee River from above, I wanted to actually experience it. I’ve driven over Chattanooga’s four bridges too many times to count.
